Prints with wooden frames

Floater Frame, Gallery frame (box frame), Shadow Box Frame

You can find the price list and the order instructions at the bottom of the page.

Choosing the right frame can sometimes be difficult. We can help you choose the right frame for your needs.

Wooden frame, Passepartout and glass is a classic way to frame Fine Art prints.

In the Floater frame a gap between the image and the frame creates the impression of the picture floating.

Gallery frame normally has a space between the glass and the image.

Shadow Box frame is a combination of a Gallery Frame and a Floater Frame.

We also offer carpentry frames that are just the way you want them to be.

Including gold-plated, silver-plated, stained, lacquered and waxed frames for all framing options.

  • Frames are available in wood, aluminium and wood-aluminum combination (Aluviilu)

  • Our passepartouts are made from the finest, non-acidic, fade-resistant museum quality material

  • Our selection includes glass / anti-reflective museum glass / protective acrylic / UV lamination.

  • Maximum size of the frame is 100 x 150 cm – 150 x 300 cm (depending on the framing method)

Spacer

Spacer bars are used to create a gap between the glass and the artwork.

Other uses include creating space for a 3D object, a sports jersey, or adding visual interest to the frame through depth, or introducing additional color to the framed piece.

Spacer bars are available in wood and plastic.

We can create a custom-height and custom-color spacer bar from wood or foam board, according to your preferences.

Passepartout (matboard)

Passepartout beautifully enhances your picture.

Passepartout is a cardboard frame with a cut-out opening in the center. It is placed between the picture and the glass within the frame.

Passepartouts come in various shapes and colors, offering great design flexibility and allowing limitless creativity. As a result, the Passepartout acts as an additional frame for the picture.

Our selection includes top-quality, acid-free Passepartouts in white, shades of gray, black, and, upon special request, in other colors.

Picture Glass and Acrylic

Avoid distracting reflections with anti-reflective glass. The reflection percentage is so low that the glass becomes almost invisible.

You can find more detailed information about glass options below.

Glass and Acrylic

Different types of glass and acrylic – Which one is right for me?

Traditional float glass, anti-reflective glass, UV glass, or plexiglass?

What are the differences between them? And what features do these types of glass offer?

Both glass and acrylic come with a variety of useful features.

  • First of all, they keep the picture and any passepartout securely in place within the frame.

  • Glass also protects the picture from external damage, such as moisture, dirt, and scratches.

  • Some picture glass offers conservation-grade UV protection, preventing the picture from fading over time.

  • Plexiglass is made from acrylic plastic and offers better durability and lighter weight compared to regular glass.

  • Anti-reflective glass is designed to reduce reflections caused by light sources, such as lamps or daylight. These glasses ensure that the picture remains bright and clear, without disappearing behind reflections – as if the glass weren’t there at all.

  • Although anti-reflective glass is a more expensive option, it is very popular.
If you don’t want to use this glass for all your frames, we especially recommend it for pictures that are likely to be placed in areas with significant reflections.
